Meditations

A. My philosophy when it comes to writing is difficult to establish in a single sentence, but as you can see from the writing that is done here, it isn’t consistency. I aim to write stories as authentically as I can, and publish them as quickly as I can. With time I will improve, and I will remove any errors and add more useful aspects to the site. This is a fragmented start. The process would go like this: I publish daily, bi-daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and bi-monthly, and what begins as chapters and reflections in a series will later be turned into PDFs, ePubs and Paperbacks. Some stories, such as the web novels, will not be turned into paperbacks, that is because I want to create an immersive and interactive experience with them.

B. My reasoning behind certain types of stories. I believe that fiction is something much greater than stories. It is a way of creating that is unique to humans. I will have essays on it. But what I mean to say is: fiction is a diverse field, and can be told in a thousand different ways from a thousand faces. I aim to capture more than one of those faces into one single prose. It is an ambitious premise. I don’t have one story to tell. I have many stories to tell. This might be a journey into the mind of Antedios. This might be a comprehensive and contradictory road into the philosophy of the same character. But it could also be as fiction always is–entertainment.

C. To begin with, I will have written strange stories with concepts that are even stranger, something that doesn’t seem to belong to any respectable author’s website. But I assure you, I don’t care. Is there a picture-perfect image I have to protect…? In the grand scheme of things there is nothing set in stone.

D. Fantasy is a medium of written word which is unlimited, whereas normal fiction is greatly limited, and it is a way to look past realism and ideology, to unleash a form of creativity that I still wonder if man has. The three forms are: traditional fantasy, (web-novels, light-novels, simple-novels) and science-fiction. When it comes to the second, I aim to create something entirely different, which will probably take years, which is a fully interactive mode of story-telling, where the writing is combined with illustrations, maps and interactive boards, which I can’t begin to explain, but I have an image in my head.
