The Arcadia Mythos is the first light novel I publish and is an ambitious story to say the least. The idea started with a world where ascension and amplification of personal abilities is everything, and a main character who did not prioritise any of those things on earth, and is now dead-last in an arms-race to survive in an alien world. From that point it grew into the high-fantasy complex world of mythos and reality, where our character, Ezra, now along with everyone else, battles to reach Arcadia. It is a combination of many ideas. It is in a complete world. It will expand. It is the story of one individual who against all odds, beats destiny. The complexity of this world makes writing it particularly difficult. To make it digestible, it jumps back and forth chronologically, to build further on concepts, backstories and individuals. There are four POVs which can be hard to differentiate. There is the Arcadians. There is Ezra himself. There is Stratos. There is the Others. All of these distinct point of views give the entirety. I will try not to use First-Person unless it is from Ezra’s point of view. But anything can happen. Expect many chapters. Expect grand scenes. Expect anything and expect nothing. It’ll be a fun journey. [Arise ye, brave Arcadians, brave Wanderers, brave Rats!] Currently planned to be released bi-daily between six and twelve volumes. I write quickly.
